Advanced coaching

One clear goal, one session built around your riding

You can already ride. Coaching helps consolidate independence, unlock a move or learn where to position yourself in the waves of Le Morne.

The instructor rides with you

There is currently no onboard microphone in your helmet for these advanced sessions. Support is organised differently:

Before launchingAn observable goal, a working area and the safety points.
While ridingThe instructor rides with you, observes your lines and demonstrates positioning.
Between runsA short review, one precise correction, then another attempt.

Two levels in one session when it makes sense

One rider can work on toeside or upwind riding while the other consolidates transitions or a directional board. If the gap or conditions make the format ineffective, the team suggests two coordinated slots.

Questions about advanced coaching

How does coaching work without a helmet microphone?

For advanced and wave coaching, the instructor rides with you. Instructions are set before launching, observed on the water and reviewed between runs. No onboard microphone is currently advertised for this format.

Can a couple with two levels share a session?

Yes when both goals are compatible with the area and conditions. One rider can work on upwind riding or toeside while the other develops transitions or positioning. The team confirms the format before the session.

What level do I need to start wave riding?

You should ride both ways, go upwind, manage your own gear and avoid a marked area. The first step is practised on a directional board and in a suitable zone before considering Manawa.

Can I go straight to One Eye?

No. Access depends on your real level, swell, wind and traffic. One Eye is only considered after assessment, with suitable support and safety arrangements.
